The guy uses a different name every time, but he likes to do the Spanish fast conqs strat or the Mayan fast plume strats. I've gotten absolutely run over a few times by a crazy 2k+ smurf (maybe 2k+ voobly). I mean it's just boring when we're forced to do the same strats every game, which is why I prefer playing on Steam rather than Voobly. I'd hate to think that the ultimate evolution of strategy in this game is the militia rush or the standard 4 scouts then massed archers, or the 3 dock 11:xx grush on water. I have zero problem with someone trying a crazy strat on me. It's technically fair, but definitely not something that I'd do another time. I did the Incan villagers a little while ago as I wanted to see if it would work after a friend told me about it, and my opponent got quite mad.

This isn't as effective with scout cavalry since they're fast enough that the wolves will stop chasing them, but there was a competitive match once where a player pulled off a multi-wolf rush, costing his opponent a few vills: You'll soon have a pack of 10 wolves hot on your tail, and when you enter the enemy town, they all stop chasing you and swarm the enemy villagers. If you're a meso civ, then send your starting eagle around the map, find all of the wolves, hit them each once, and run. You can also send forward vills to palisade in all of the enemy resources (or their town), which is always hilarious. Same goes for Bombard Cannons, siege onagers and Mongol siege rams filled with champs. If you have the eco, then you can build 40 trebs and parade them into the enemy town, unpack, and level everything in about a minute. After long game I managed to win the game with my villager strategy :DIf you think this is effective, then try fully-upgraded Incan villagers in AoF :p While his eagles and jaguars were trying to raid 1 of my wood camps my villagers took down his castle and tc.
